A passionate vintage science fiction fan, Douglas Parker is a feature writer for a Florida newspaper and has authored three previous books. Mr. Parker, a lifelong educator, has enjoyed numerous glowing reviews over the years, and his writing was highlighted in the Styles section of The Washington Post. He is a veteran English teacher, coach, and school administrator, is a member of the Space Coast Writers' Guild, and holds dual Master's degrees in Developmental Counseling and in Education. As the winner of the Albany Times Union Future Talk Science Fiction Writing Contest, it was courteously reported that, “Mr. Parker pens with cyberpunkish savior-faire.”
